Để tự giới thiệu, tôi xin được mượn lời của ông Mike Murray, lúc ấy là Giám Đốc Đối Ngoại của Verizon, nói với quan khách của tổ chức phi lợi nhuận nơi tôi làm việc. Hôm ấy (một ngày tháng 3 năm 2014), tôi đại diện cho văn phòng của mình để nhận phần thưởng do Verizon trao tặng. Kinh chao quy vi. Toi ten la Mike Murray. Toi lam viec cho Verizon. Toi hoc tieng Viet voi co Khanh. I am co Khanh's favorite student. She often says that my command of the Vietnamese language marvels her. Khanh studied at the Education University in Vietnam and has a Master's degree from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. She taught tieng Viet at Orange Coast College to English speakers for two years. Khanh teaches everything at this office: English as a Second Language, Citizenship ... If they had a pool here, she'd teach swim classes. I truly believe that Khanh's proudest moments as a teacher, though, are when toi noi tieng Viet. She's so proud of the respect and charm that I bring to dau ngang, dau huyen, dau sac, dau hoi, dau nga, va dau nang. It's with great pleasure that I introduce giao vien cua toi, co Khanh.
