THE FINAL CUT - Sahara Voss

"The red carpet is soaked in champagne... and blood."

In the Grand Théâtre Lumière at the Cannes Film Festival, two thousand four hundred world leaders, movie stars, and media moguls sit in black-tie silence for the world premiere of the festival’s surprise closing film.

But forensic script doctor Rory Callahan and Interpol agent Nathan Cross know the terrible truth: the film’s multi-track 70mm magnetic soundtrack does not contain an orchestral score. It contains an acoustic sub-audible cryptographic cipher designed to unlock Helios Vault-a $20 billion shadow treasury controlled by a global media cartel.

From luxury super-yachts anchored off Monaco to subterranean vaults carved into the limestone cliffs of Antibes, Rory and Nathan are hunted by syndicate hit squads who will stop at nothing to ensure the film plays to the final frame.

With eighty-five million viewers watching the international live broadcast, Rory must infiltrate the high-security projection booth high above the Palais des Festivals and execute an audacious live audio counter-splice before the closing credits trigger a financial catastrophe.
