"I lived in this time. I breathe this air." Her diary (1981-1987) reflects one of the most important periods in the life of the country - the so-called Perestroika (reconstruction). Gorbachev's era starts with facilitation of the exit and the entry to the country, and ends with the collapse of the Soviet Union. The detective like story about the performance of the play "Suicide" by Nikolay ERDMAN told by the author in this book is a typical example of some democratic changes in power regime during the "perestroika." The book leaves no one indifferent.
