Synopsis "The Pilot"

19-year-old Mike is overjoyed at receiving his pilot's license and can't wait to soar back up into the heavens again! He meets mechanic Derek, who services the light aircraft at the small airfield and the chemistry between them bubbles over. They take a flight together above the airfield but as neither has had a relationship before find it difficult to fulfil their dreams. An unplanned adventure begins when a plane from Morocco lands carrying cocaine, but that is not the only dangerous cargo it's carrying. The two young men are threatened with death by a group of smugglers and Derek has to make a decision whether to fly the plane back to Morocco. Mike and Derek had no idea what was in store for them and maybe would have taken a different path if they had foreseen the terrible outcome. Fast moving romantic novel of two young men who find themselves in dire straits in foreign countries from Africa to South America.
