A girl in black leather tights and a stretched out white tank top was standing on the porch of a two-story house. All the lights were on, and Tracy could see the silhouettes of dozens of people dancing and laughing and chatting. "Come on, girl!" the young woman on the porch yelled again, waving her over. "Pneumonia is no joke. Come!" As if Tracy's legs had a mind of their own, they started moving, guiding her straight towards the house. She crossed the street without looking, stepping into every single puddle that was in her way. She climbed the porch steps and stood at the top, panting and shaking the rain off of her. The younger girl had leaned back against the wall and was taking long drags of her cigarette, watching her. "Better, right?" the girl smiled when Tracy caught her eye. "Yeah," Tracy breathed and her eyes involuntarily started traveling down the girl's body. Catching herself, she swiftly brought them up to her face again. "Isn't it sort of ironic, though, how you wanted to protect me from pneumonia when you're out here half-naked? At least I'm wearing a coat." "There are different rules for people with icy cold hearts," the girl said, and the cigarette smoke playfully danced out of her lips, as if she was actually exhaling ice.
