Being a single parent is hard but raising teenagers should have its own category at the Oscars! While all of that is going on the unexpected decides to show up; BREAST CANCER - SERIOUSLY! Could you not have waited until the summer time or until the kids had graduated and were off to college. Nope she shows up in the middle of the school year, the middle of puberty and of course right when things are going great for my career. Here are how things went while I battled breast cancer and continued to be a single mother; at the same time. It wasn't pretty nor was it easy but I hope you can see how strong you can be when you least expect it.
