Synopsis "With Both Feet"

A ‘Seize the Day’, feel-good romantic comedy about an ever-optimistic schoolteacher finding love through a delightful series of comical mishaps.Bestselling author Nicola Kelsall presents a highly entertaining romantic comedy.Laura thought teaching a bunch of impertinent kids in a failing secondary school was hard enough, but life gets a whole lot more problematic when her mother’s strange behaviour starts to have a serious impact on her love life. And, why, with all that going on, does she decide to take on a homeless, disaffected 14-year-old? Has she lost her mind? Her friends certainly think so – after all, what sane person with absolutely no experience of children becomes a single mother to a recalcitrant teenager, overnight?Reviews‘I loved every minute of this book; original, funny story line, brilliantly observed characters, well-written, often hilarious dialogue. This is a wonderful feel-good read! Sit down with a coffee, put your feet up and enjoy!’ – S. Jensen‘A gentle, humorous read that gives a real life look at what it’s like to be a secondary school teacher: a teacher looking for love and to live life to the fullest. I was rooting for Laura all the way through - through the disasters, the funnies, and the sadder moments. I would have read this in one sitting, but life got in the way, so it had to be two!’ – J.
