Fast ein Erwachsenenleben lang ist er konfrontiert mit der Tatsache, dass Hitlers Gedankengut keineswegs überwunden ist, sondern noch immer in den Köpfen vieler seiner Mitmenschen rumort, unbewusst oder bewusst, und z.T. sehr intentional verwendet und verwirklicht wird. Im Alter bekämpft er, zusammen mit seinem Freund Muck, braune Seilschaften und Machtansprüche.
